Red lentil and broccoli dal?  Yum.  I will try this.

It is WAY too early to be thinking berries — I mean, we’ve barely gotten started with spring — but I can’t help craving lemonade every time it’s warm enough to eat lunch at the picnic table.  And this raspberry lemonade looks so tasty!

But speaking of berries, I do still have some blueberries in the freezer from last summer — and if I can find some of the NEW (and Oh So Exciting) Daiya cream cheese, I can maybe mix up some Blueberry Lemon Cream Cheese Ice Cream? (Daiya uses coconut oil, and the recipe calls for coconut milk, so I won’t be sharing with Denise on this one) (ARRRGGH!!!! – Denise).

Back to spring — corn and asparagus — with chipotle and maple — does sound like a good combination.  I think I would skip the nuts in this salad and add some avocado instead.

Gluten-free Girl has a new cookbook coming out — and there’s a preview and link to four free recipes from the cookbook on the GFG blog.  They aren’t completely allergen-free (I will admit, I don’t own the previous cookbook because of all the dairy and egg), but they look pretty easy to modify.

I found the sequel to the Sriracha Cookbook, dubbing around on Amazon: The Veggie-Lover’s Sriracha Cookbook: 50 Vegan “Rooster Sauce” Recipes that Pack a Punch.  I will likely be buying it at some point.

Also Olives for Dinner had a great post for Glazed Tofu with Fiery Sriracha Pearls, which won’t work if you can’t have soy, but I bet you can have the fiery Sriracha Pearls.  I really need to play with making these.  And if you can’t have soy, you can try making it with this recipe for Burmese Chickpea Tofu, which is very intriguing to me.  I’m wondering if I can hijack the concept with some modifications to create some soy free ravioli fake cheese fillings, since most of the vegan cheese replacement products either have almond or coconut in them, neither of which I (Denise) can have.

Lastly, I need to make Limoncello.  I’ve been saying that for years and years, but one of the people I follow on Pinterest (Amanda at Celiac and Allergy Adventures) just pinned one from Poor and Gluten Free that looks fabulous.

Let us know what cool things you’ve found out there this week!
